Thomas K. Hauser has more than 33 years of operational business experience in compliance and consulting in management roles including CEO. He also has significant international experience in medical device and pharmaceutical companies, focusing on the U.S., Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and China. He has a deep understanding of data privacy, anti-bribery and anti-corruption (domestic and international), conflicts of interest, and regulatory matters as they manifest in daily operations.
In the last four years, Thomas was the international practice leader for the Life Sciences Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance practice of an international consulting company. Additionally, he has served over six years as the global Chief Compliance Officer for a $16B life sciences company with over 100 worldwide locations. Prior to this mission, he acted as the global Chief Compliance Officer for a $9B Industrial company. In these roles, Thomas oversaw global privacy for the organization as well.
Thomas holds an MA from the University of St. Gallen and an MSJ from Seton Hall Law School. He serves as a board and strategic committee member of ETHICS, an International Society of Healthcare Ethics and Compliance Professionals. He is also an IPMA Projects Director, IAPP Certified Information Privacy Manager, IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe, SCCE Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional International, and active Colonel General Staff in the Swiss Armed Forces Joint Staff. Additionally, he is a regular speaker and panelist at large industry specific global compliance conferences.
